Privacy policy

Last updated: 6 November 2026

Tusgal School (“the School”) handles the personal data of students, parents and guardians, job applicants and website visitors responsibly and in line with Mongolia's Law on Personal Data Protection. This policy explains what we collect through tusgalschool.mn, how we use it and how we protect it.

Last updated: 6 November 2026

1What we collect

We only receive what you give us when you fill in a form:

  • Admission application: the child's name, date of birth, grade applied for and current school; the parent or guardian's name, phone, email, preferred contact time, notes and any attached documents.
  • Job application: name, contact details, education, experience, CV and attachments.
  • Feedback: name, contact details and the message.
  • Technical data: server logs needed to keep the site running safely (for example request time and IP address).

2Why we use it

  • To receive and review admission applications and contact you.
  • To assess job applications and invite candidates to interview.
  • To answer feedback and questions.
  • To keep the website secure and working.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

We never use your data for advertising or sell it to anyone.

3Children's data

A minor's details are provided only by their parent or guardian. Photos and videos of students are published on the website and our social pages with a parent's or guardian's consent. You can withdraw consent at any time and ask for a published photo to be removed.

4Storage and protection

Form submissions and attachments are stored on encrypted servers with restricted access. Only authorised staff can view them, and every access requires a staff login.

  • Admission applications are kept for up to 1 year after the admission decision; for enrolled students the data moves into the school record.
  • Applications from unsuccessful job candidates are kept for up to 1 year.
  • Data is deleted once its retention period ends.

5Sharing with third parties

We do not pass your data to third parties. The only exceptions are requests from authorities where the law requires it, and the hosting and database providers that run the website, who store data solely on our behalf.

6Cookies

The website uses no advertising or tracking cookies. It only uses essential cookies to remember your chosen language and to keep staff signed in.

7Your rights

  • Ask what data we hold about you.
  • Have incorrect data corrected.
  • Have your data deleted or withdraw consent.
  • Complain about how your data is used.

Send requests to info@tusgalschool.mn and we will reply within 10 working days.

8Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when needed and will show the date of the latest change at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced on the website.
